Why Communication Is One of the Most Important Parts of My Job

Every Monday.

Like clockwork.

I’m reaching out to my clients.

Sometimes it’s a market update.

Sometimes it’s a recap of showings.

Sometimes it’s an update on something happening behind the scenes.

And sometimes it’s simply:

“Hey, how are ya?”

Because I believe communication isn’t optional when you’re helping someone buy or sell a home.

It’s the foundation of the relationship.

You Shouldn’t Have to Wonder What’s Happening

One of the most frustrating parts of a real estate transaction can be feeling like you’re in the dark.

Did anyone look at the house?

What did the buyers think?

Are we getting showings?

What happens next?

Did the lender send the paperwork?

Is the inspection scheduled?

What’s happening with the appraisal?

There are a lot of moving pieces.

My goal is to make sure my clients aren’t sitting around wondering what’s happening or waiting for me to remember to call.

You should know what’s going on.

Consistency Builds Trust

I don’t believe good communication means calling someone every five minutes.

It means being consistent.

If I tell you I’m going to update you every Monday, you’re going to hear from me every Monday.

Even if there’s nothing major to report.

Especially if there’s nothing major to report.

Sometimes the update is simply, “Everything is on track. Nothing new this week.”

That’s still valuable.

Because you know someone is paying attention.

Real Estate Can Be Stressful Enough

Buying or selling a home already comes with enough uncertainty.

You shouldn’t have to add:

“I wonder if my Realtor is actually doing anything?”

to the list.

My clients deserve to know that I’m working on their behalf, thinking ahead, watching the market, and keeping the process moving.

That’s what communication does.

It creates clarity.

It creates confidence.

And ultimately, it creates trust.

So yes, you can expect to hear from me.

Every Monday.

Market update, showing recap, next steps, or just a quick hello.

Because when you’re my client, you’re not just another transaction on my calendar.

You’re someone I’m responsible for helping.
